America used to be feared and respected for its military might, but Obama SJW’s turned it into their experimental playground, and some of the latest news on our armed forces is troubling. Hopefully, with Trump as the new commander-in-chief, our military will be made great again quickly.

“US Military Wants Biodegradable Ammo That Shoots Seeds”

Be afraid…

Yes that’s the real headline from about a month ago. Not the same photo, but that’s what came to mind when I saw the headline. I also thought of this funny comic from a few years back imagining what the content filter was going to do to Gears of War 2. Run a chainsaw through your enemy and rainbows and confetti fly out while the soldier shouts polite compliments in the heat of battle. You’d think Obama during his term in office was trying to make that the military reality.

I feel for our service members. I did my time, and I was lucky enough to always stay a half-step ahead of the SJW wave of policies creating a kinder, gentler world peace force. The very next group after mine to arrive at A-School had been given an option to display a time-out stress card any time boot camp got to be too intense for them.

Nuts! He pulled a stress card. Game over, man! Game over!

After my time, our nation started to see what our fighting force was being turned into.

There was this training exercise, which InfoWars covered back in April of 2015:

Forging a more effective fighting force?

The army said they were investigating, but it wasn’t the first time it had happened. ArmyTimes points out similar events in 2014, 2013, and 2011.

Then the mainstream media gushed over this photo shoot in September of 2015:

This wins wars now. Terrorists beware.

When the NCO’s used to tell us to “Suck it up” I don’t think this is what they had in mind. It meant that military life was hard so don’t expect any special accommodations.

When a few female service members did a similar shoot only three years earlier, it cost some their jobs.

What must our adversaries think?

Putting these three things together (biodegradable bullets, red shoes, breastfeeding platoon and proud), the opening of an old Monty Python skit, “Army Protection Racket,” comes to mind as what the leftists think a military should be.

Colonel: (Graham Chapman) Come in, what do you want?

 (Private Watkins enters and salutes.)

Watkins: (Eric Idle) I’d like to leave the army please, sir.

 Colonel: Good heavens man, why?

 Watkins: It’s dangerous.

 Colonel: What?

Watkins: There are people with guns out there, sir.

 Colonel: What?

Watkins: Real guns, sir. Not toy ones, sir. Proper ones, sir. They’ve all got ’em. All of ’em, sir. And some of ’em have got tanks.

Colonel: Watkins, they are on our side.

Watkins: And grenades, sir. And machine guns, sir. So I’d like to leave, sir, before I get killed, please.

Colonel: Watkins, you’ve only been in the army a day.

Watkins: I know sir but people get killed, properly dead sir, no barely cross fingers sir. A bloke was telling me, if you’re in the army and there’s a war you have to go and fight.

 Colonel: That’s true.

Watkins: Well I mean, blimey, I mean if it was a big war somebody could be hurt.

Except in the American version, soldiers don’t ask to leave. Instead, the military and the field of battle need to be made into a safe space where no one gets hurt.

What’s a Military For?

Watch it here.

A crucial point highlighted in the interview with former Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara was his discussion of the nuclear bombing of Japan. McNamara points out that the reason the nuclear bombs caused the surrender was only because of the firebombing raids that had gone on for some time before. The firebombing had wiped out 50-90% of the civilians in the 67 largest Japanese cities. Then the US did with one bomb from one plane the damage already normally done with an entire air raid, and they had to do it twice before Japan realized that a refusal to surrender would mean the end of their people on Earth.

War is ugly business, but a necessary evil when all means of diplomacy fail. But what do Americans today think would happen if our army met an enemy army on the battlefield, wiped out the enemy army, and the enemy civilians refuse to surrender? Would that mean we just lost, even though our army is the only one still standing?

A military protects the citizenry from external threats, either offensively or defensively. The citizenry are not protected by magic force fields of love flowing from a Unicorns rear with rainbows and pieces of paper with “Geneva Convention” written on them. They are protected by a military that specializes in killing those who would otherwise kill us.

The Really Troubling Part

While Obama was creating a kinder, gentler, more tolerant Social Justice military, the tools of war were left to rust. From DefenseNews, budget cuts have left the US Navy with 2/3 of its strike fighters unable to fly, more than half of all aircraft grounded, up to six submarines no longer permitted to go underwater, and crews barely getting enough active time to maintain qualifications.

Our fighting forces barely have the equipment or training left to still fight a war, but at least those high heels made them more sensitive to feminist tears.

I’ve rarely met a service member who thinks these SJW changes were great ideas. I’ve met many civilians of the left who think its wonderful and our military is finally becoming civilized.

At least out in the Redoubt, you’ll be surrounded by Patriots and Veterans who know what a fighting force is for, even if it is ugly business that is not enjoyable. But somebody has to do it when all else fails, and men of the Redoubt are ready to do it should our civilized institutions fail before the fighting forces can get back on their feet.

The credo of the American Redoubt Patriot? Speed, Surprise and Violence of Action. Period.
